ITINERARY FOR INDIAN BIRD WATCHING TOUR AND BHARATPUR BIRD SANCTUARY

INDIAN BIRD WATCHING TOUR

Duration: 7 Nights / 8 Days

Destination Covered:- Delhi- Agra- Chambal-Bharatpur-Agra-Delhi

Day 1 Arrive Delhi

Assistance upon arrival and transfer to hotel.

Overnight in Hotel.

Day 2 Delhi

After breakfast depart for full day sightseeing of Old and New Delhi visiting-

Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Rajghat, India Gate , Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar ,Iron Pillar.

A drive through the Diplomatic Enclaves to see the various High Commissions, Rashtrapati Bhawan , Central Secretariat Buildings , The Parliament House.

Overnight in Hotel.

Day 3 Delhi- Agra ( train ) - Chambal

Early in the morning transfer to Railway station for train to Agra and onwards depart by Car for Chambal Bird Sanctuary.

In the afternoon visit Chambal area which is famous for Sarus crane breed.

Overnight in Hotel.

Day 4 Chambal

Early in the morning depart for boat ride in Chambal River to view rare Indian Comb Duck, Fishing Eagles, Flamingo etc.

In the afternoon take a nature walk to explore.

Overnight in Hotel.

Day 5 Chambal- Bharatpur

After breakfast depart Chambal for Bharatpur by car to visit Keoladeo National Park and enjoy a Rickshaw Ride to explore the park.

Keoladeo National Park -The sanctuary boasts 370 species of birds, of which 150 are migrants, some come as far afield as Siberia, swelling the local bird population to around half a million.

Overnight in Hotel.

Day 6 Bharatpur

After breakfast again explore the park with naturalist.

Rest of the free at leisure.

Overnight in Hotel.

Day 7 Bharatpur- Agra

After breakfast depart Bharatpur for Agra by Car en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri and later in the afternoon sightseeing of Agra City , Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Overnight in Hotel.

Day 8 Agra- Delhi

After Lunch depart Agra for Delhi arriving directly at Airport for flight back home.

BHARATPUR BIRD SANCTUARY

Duration: 3 Nights / 4 Days

Destination Covered:- Delhi - Bharatpur - Agra - Delhi

Day 1 Delhi - Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary

Depart Delhi for Bharatpur by Car arriving in Hotel by afternoon.

Rest of the day free at leisure .

Overnight in Hotel.

Day 2 Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary
